Tunesday: Lemonade

I can't remember exactly when this song found its way into my library, but I do remember it was a summertime... probably about five years ago? I loved it the first time I heard it. The name of the song is Lemonade, and the guy who sings it (Jeremy Manongdo) goes by the name Passion.
We had an event occur in our family yesterday that rocked us. It was disappointing and frustrating and sad. But by the end of the day, I didn't think there was any way I could love my husband more than I did. He was by my side, on my team, and I knew he felt what I was feeling.
My favorite line in this song is "You're soothing like the ocean rushing on the sand." I love the beach, and that line just makes sense to me.
Anyway... I love my husband and I feel like with him, I can do hard things. Thanks for being exactly what I need, baby.

*This version gets a little silly. Download the original track, without the college kids laughing in the background. You will love it.

I have not heard that song before, but I love it.

Hope you're okay, friend. If there's anything a blog friend can do, all you have to do is ask.

Now, I am worried about you. I hope everything is okay. What you said about Skip was lovely, but I am sorry you are having to do hard things.

Does the man have any flaws? I'm just wondering, not that you need to blog about them by any means, but he really sounds too good to be true! What a great attribute--to feel like he is on your team, I love that!

I can't hear that song without thinking of you.

Okay...what happened? Call me.

Byron loves this kind of song and especially because it's like a little obscure secret that only he and a few others know about. It's nice he has a song soul mate.

You were my lemonade, just sayin'.... back when Timmy K was a part of our lives. Don't tell B, he might get jealous.

It's a miracle. All of a sudden I can see all the tunesday videos that you posted. I like the line about the tylenol. Dave is my tylenol. (or should I say prozac?)
