the down side of satin sheets for your birthday (PURELY HYPOTHETICAL!)

1. running and jumping on the bed will send you hurtling against the closest wall. (think slip-n-slide)
2. rough, dry feet make noise comparable to nails on a chalkboard.
3. any other blankets you may want to use will slip right off.
4. a chipped fingernail will snag and leave unsightly marks.
5. drool marks on pillow cannot be hidden.
6. any non-traditional positions become circus acts.
7. while the "shimmer" from the full moon at first appears romantic, by about 3:am, it's more of a glare.
(here's someone who can enjoy the satin sheets)

#6... I'm blushing. Is this blog rated PG-13?? ;)

So, what are satin sheets good for? Anything? They seem so luxurious. Are they comfy? Are they even warm?

I'm laughing hard at this one. Thanks for being my consumer reporter.

we took the satin sheets off today. they are very comfy for lounging around playing scrabble but that's about it. we both lotioned up our feet last night though, so i could at least get some sleep. sarah, they are warm, once you get over the initial freezing cold shock of them. and paige, i dare you to try satin nightie on satin sheets. then get back to brooke with your consumer report.

When you say "non-traditional positions," you're talking about ballet, right? And if so, why are you doing ballet on your bed?

I do not know how I missed this hilarious post. We need more racy blog entries. If only my kids didn't read it....
